Guy Limone was born in 1958 in Villefranche sur Sâone in France. He entered the Beaux-Arts of Lyon, Paris and Aix-en-Provence. He obtained his Higher National Diploma of Plastic Expression in 1985.
The omnipresence of the yellow in his works is justified by the fact that it is a color unloved and rejected, paralleling the discourse of tolerance, the acceptance of the other in question. It is also based on the multitude of statistics in the world to represent them through miniature figurines, giving meaning to figures normally doomed to be quickly forgotten.
