Camille Scherrer is a Swiss artist and designer born in 1984. Having grown up in Château-d'Œx, in the Pays-d'Enhaut, she is inspired by this mountainous landscape to create her own universe populated by animals, postcards and cable cars. In 2008, she graduated from the ECAL (Cantonal School of Art of Lausanne) in Media & Interaction Design. Her diploma work "Le Monde des Montagnes", an interactive book in augmented reality, allows her to win the "Pierre Bergé" prize for the best European design diploma.
Her works have been exhibited throughout the world, including New York, Tokyo, Paris, Beirut and Seoul. Her work explores the intersections between art and technology. In parallel with her personal artistic practice, she is also a professor in Media Design Master at HEAD (University of Art and Design) in Geneva.
